Floor Paving Process

After completing the preliminary inspection, you can start laying the floor. We will take the laying methods of solid wood flooring and solid wood composite flooring as examples to introduce the steps of floor laying.

1. Floor preparation: clean up the construction debris on the ground, and set the door height to less than 10%;

2. Open the baseboard hole: the hole distance is 500mm±10mm, and the hole diameter should be 3-5mm<10% smaller than the diameter of the wooden wedge;

3. Thoroughly clean the floor: do not underestimate this issue, the cleaning of the floor is very important;

4. Lay the moisture-proof membrane: lay a 0.2mm thick moisture-proof membrane; overlap the joints by 200mm and seal with tape. The wall should be raised 50-60mm;

5. Laying floor mats: Floor mats cannot overlap, joints need to be sealed with 60mm wide tape, and the edges should be 30-50mm higher than the skirting;

6. Pre-selection of color separation for trial laying: If there is a color difference problem, color distinction is required, and laying can be carried out after communication of laying opinions;

7. Starting from the upper left corner of the laying room: The floor mother tenon is against the wall, and an 8-12mm reserved gap needs to be reserved for fixing the wall, water pipes and other objects, and positioned with wooden wedges;

8. Knocking the floor joints: During the process of splicing the floor, the floor joints need to be knocked with a hammer;

9. Installing the end spring: After the floor is laid, remove the positioning wooden wedge and install the spring at the end or edge of the floor;

10. Installing the skirting: After driving the nails into the skirting, knock the nail caps completely in, and apply nail polish of similar color;

11. Cleaning and sanitation: Clean the floor to meet the standard of direct living.
